THE MEG CITY EXPERIENCE

The MEG CITY EXPERIENCE is an entry level program for competitive players wanting to learn, train, and compete in futsal. Players will learn attacking & defensive principles that we (Meg City) have derived from our EXPERIENCES in Brazil, Spain, and Portugal. Players will train and compete with serious players from surrounding areas and gain valuable EXPERIENCE playing futsal. The MEG CITY EXPERIENCE is your player's "Launch pad" to the next level (for futsal or soccer).


THE MEG CITY EXPERIENCE PROGRAM INFO
At every session, players will be EXPERIENCE the following (each session will be different):

  • Technical training: Daily topics include: moves to beat an opponent, turning, passing, receiving, shooting, etc.
  • Skill training: application of technique (daily topic) in pressured situations such as 1v1, 2v1, 2v2, etc. 
  • Tactical training: applying "skill" in game scenarios such as goal clearances, kick-ins, corners, restarts, counter-attacks, etc. Players will learn the 3-1 rotation on offense and "man to man" defense (player marking) to improve game awareness.
  • Game time: a small scrimmages at the end of every session (3v3-5v5).

COST: $100/MONTH PER PLAYER

(3-4 SESSIONS TOTAL PER MONTH ). Month to month commitment. Sibling discounts available. The monthly fee is VALID ONLY for a 1-month time frame (3-4 Sessions). Trainings may be on multiple surfaces including; sports court, wood court, etc. There will be a limited amount of players per Training groups. Players will receive a training top for training sessions.

SESSION LENGTH: 75-90 Minutes

***Each player must be evaluated before being accepted. In addition, players who excel may be selected and/or invited to participate on a select team (NO GUARANTEES).***

Elias and Naadir 

Elias started in our program February 2023. His attitude and work ethic are the two things that made him stand out as he progressively got better and better at every session. Elias has now played in 5 tournaments for Meg City Futsal 2014B and has became an experienced player in the game in such a short time period.


Naadir started in our program in August 2022. He continued to improve and became a skillful player. He was consistent and showed up to all trainings. In June 2023, Naadir was added to the Select program and now has played in 4 tournaments for Meg City Futsal 2014B.

Tatiana
Tatiana started in the program February 2023. She was "new" to futsal and hungry to learn the game. She kept pushing the limits and we began seeing massive growth in her game. She is a quick learner and applies what she learns in the game. Her game IQ is what made her stand out. After a few months, we began integrating her into our Select program and she fit right in with the group (a group that has been training for years together). Not only did she fit in with the Select program but she became an impact player for the 2010G Select team (playing a year up). She recently became our starting FIXO at the US Futsal National Championships in Las Vegas. We are proud of you Tatiana!

SUCCESS STORIES

Aidan
Aidan R (2013) from our Experience Program recently got an experience of a lifetime. Aidan guest played with a Brazilian Club VOLKS from Sao Paulo in the Benjamin Division (U10). His team won the Junior Futsal Cup in Spain January 2023 against Inter Movistar (Academia) in the Final. Congrats VOLKS and Aidan. What an experience!!! His older brother Charlie (2009) also played for Meg City at the Junior Futsal Cup. They played Inter Movistar Academia (Spain), Rafael Cafu (Brazil), CD Rivas (Spain), Guadalajara (Spain), and Braintree (England).
